Since the implementor and the mailing list maintainer have spoken on
this issue, I withdraw my proposal. Thanks, Brian, for the feeds from
the TCP-group mailing list.
Since my second question was probably lost in the controversy, I'll ask
again. Does anybody out there have experience with the NCSA telnet
'drivers' for the Mac and PC? Do they have any advantages over the KA9Q
code, such as support for other devices (say, different Ethernet boards
and such)? Since the code is apparently free (even to commercial sites),
we may be able to do something useful with it.
