Domain server lookup problems?

The domain lookup code _DOES_ always lookup the local file first. If it's
not resolved locally, it's because it's not there. This may be for a number
of reasons. One is that the domain records have a 0 time-to-live value in
it. Secondly, if the trailing period on the domain name is missing, it will
not be resolved. I suggest that the domain trace is activated and that the
contents of the domain file is compared with the name being resolved.
