I'm implementing a commercial tcp on a unix system, which will talk to a
NOS-based pc router. The unix tcp will work with domain name service,
but I have no idea what's involved in implementing such a server or
where I can find one.

Is there a pd name server program available? My tcp (Excelan) does have
a socket library available.
