Phil,

I'm beginning a new job and really don't have the time to investigate
problems in NOS.  I have left manufacturing engineering (after 10 years
it had become too routine for me) and accepted a job with our site's
Telecom group.  I'll be supporting LAN engineering for PC's on our LAN
and have backup duties for the two engineers working on other LAN
related areas (HP-UX systems, email).

I don't know if the following problem falls under your area of interest
or not, but I thought I'd send it to you for review.  Feel free to
investigate it, forward it to tcp-group or simply ignore it.

Ron,

I have found another problem with the 910201 version of nos, I will try
to explain it as best that I can. I know you are busy with a new position
so if you feel its appropriate you can send it to the tcp group.

When I wanted to send a message to someone, I telnet to myself then log in
of course, then:

sp k4qal@k4qal

after typing the message I do a cntrl z to exit
then my tnc keys up once than stops. After looking the log I see an error
message (I am sending the log at the end). If I then do a smtp kick everything
works as it should.
