Quite awhile back we had a disscussion on KISS packet (MTU) size. I
setermined that with certain TNC's it was limited. Since more and more
of our networks are going to 9600 baud and above there is a need to
increase MTU's. I am looking for input from others who are currently
doing that. At 9600 baud an MTU of 1024 or 2048 is reasonable. We
are currently running 512 MTU's on our 2400 baud links with good results.
If anyone is using MTU's on KISS circuit's of 1024 or greater I would
like to know about it. Hardware/firmware versions etc.
