Hey, for the most part, NOS _is_ its own O/S. After all, DOS is just a
non-reentrant program loader with a primitive file system and a handful of
API calls of its own. NOS does most of the work by itself.
It is only one step removed from Netware (server NOS), which I understand is
booted from DOS but then denies that DOS is even present.
