Yes, that's it, I'll bet. I just barely found out about "attach kiss" (as
opposed to "attach ax25") from looking at JNOS source code and documentation,
just before I got your message. Now I just need to recompile JNOS with the
KISS symbol defined.

My guess would be to attach a secondary kiss port (kiss channel 1)
usingn "attach kiss ..." after you attach the first part. There
may also be a command to change the default port, I don't have
a manual.
