Yeah, and there are still people using plain Baudot RTTY. You can't
convert everybody no matter how much better your stuff is. But that
doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
Many of the advantages of my new protocol are intended for shared
channels (the MACA stuff, especially). It ought to be easy to make
a point-to-point link work well.
