Asked why jnos disconnected even after playing with T3 and T4.

I just saw that a week ago. There are two  parms in the autoexec.nos.
The link timer is the first and the MBOX timer is the second.

#no keep-alive polling
ax25 t3 0
#link disconnected after 10 minutes of idle time
ax25 t4 600

#mailbox timer parms.
#disconnect users after 10 minutes of idle time
mbox tdisc 600

You might want to try the MBOX timer and leave the others alone. I don't
know why
there are two timers. That would be a interesting bit of trivia to learn.
