We're getting a uucp newsfeed to the unix system that will interconnect
with our local tcp/ip packet network. Our newsfeed wants us to
register as a subdomain of the "dayton.oh.us" geographical domain,
rather than as a subsidiary machine under their edu umbrella.
Since our hope is to provide a gateway between the packet community and
the rest of the networked world, is a domain name like:
"packet.dayton.oh.us"
a wise choice? Has there been any attempt at standardizing this sort of
thing?
