Beacons causing resets in WNOS

Has anybody else experienced this?
I and several others locally are experimenting with WNOS2 and have
experienced the situation where a beacon causes a station to crash.

The setup is as follows:
g6kvk runs WNOS2 via a PK232
ax25 beacon fires off a UI frame every 30 mins to ID
the pk232 beacon also fires off a UI frame very 30 mins to QST

g4hpe runs WNOS2 via a PK88
g4hpe reacts OK to the ID beacon (it ignores it)
When g4hpe receives the UI fram addressed to QST, it either:
        sends a DM frame to G6KVK (????) or
        Crashes!!!!

Any ideas?
