X1J Node and IP routing

We are trying to get an X1J node running in an MFJ TNC/2. The AX25 stuff 
works as documented. We are not able to get IP routing to work. The JNOS 
station's have route commands that send packets to the X1J node, but the X1J 
node doesn't repeat them. If we use the same route commands and point at 
another JNOS for the router, everything works. The X1J node also refuses to 
answer a ping.

Can someone please send me a list of the parameters that they use in their 
X1J node for IP routing?
