I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for name-calling
at Joerg Reuter on this list. Here's why:

I only said one nasty thing, but it's time to take it back. Joerg has
corrected the issue to my satisfaction.

So now we have:

        GPL-ed networking core: Fred Van Kempen, Alan Cox, and others.
        GPL-ed AX.25 implementation: Phil Karn
        GPL-ed PI driver: David Perry
        GPL-ed SCC Z8530 driver: Joerg Reuter
        GPL-ed HAM BBS: Bob Arasmith N0ARY (But he said _I_ have to maintain it!)
        GPL-ed Unix Kernel: Linus Torvalds
        And so on...

All of this is coming together to make a very nice system.
