| Is there anyone doing Linux/xNOS with the Slackware 2.1 (1.1.59)
| release? I suspect a bug in routing from the Ethernet to internal
| SLIP links. If you are running successfully, please contact me.

I'm trying to remember which versions had problems... the "new tty drivers"
introduced in 1.1.14 broke things for a long time, then other problems
surfaced in later versions. I think 1.1.61 and later were "clean", however.
(It's been a while...)
You may want to stick to 1.0.9 unless you need the newer kernels (say, for
device support); in that case, I suggest 1.1.75 or 1.1.89 if you're after
stability or 1.2.0 if you're feeling daring. :-) (I'd suggest waiting
otherwise; there is at least one bug report/fix against 1.2.0 already, in the
IP firewalling code.)
