Alan Cox had the answer!!!! The Slackware net kernerl off the
distribution does NOT have IP Forwarding capability! I redid the
kernel (Amazing how slow a 4Mb box can be!) and it came right up!
Alan, if you come to Texas, I'll buy the beer!!! (Shiner, of
course!! 8-}) Thank you VERY MUCH!! It's nice to be able to go home
with something working for a change.
If anyone is interested, I can detail my whole setup for posteriority
or even a FAQ.
